live user activity, debugging, and monitoring of live solutions. This lowers the
total cost of ownership while increasing developer productivity.

2010. This improves developer productivity, reduces debugging, and reduces maintenance
time on deployed applications. Overall it results in a lower total cost of ownership
while increasing developer productivity.
Support for Developers from Developers
Collaborate with Coversant on your project. It is our belief that developers can’t
write code for 8 hours a day every day and that developers need to be in touch with
customer needs. For this reason we have our developers provide support to our customers.
Standards Based Communications
XMPP Based Communications
SoapBox Server® 2010 communicates using the eXtensible Messaging and Presence Protocol
(XMPP) which has been adopted by over 50 million users worldwide, and supports an extremely broad
spectrum of interoperable applications. It arguably the world standard for communications on the new Internet.
Server to Server Communications
SoapBox SDK Studio 2010 communicates with other XMPP compliant servers. Providing
true interoperable instant messaging communications. Server to Server communications are
secure because the communications are transmitted across secure negotiated channels.
New! BOSH
Both SoapBox Server 2010 and SoapBox SDK Studio 2010 include a high performance IIS6/7 x86/x64 handler
for integrated web collaboration. The IIS handler is useful to solve cross-domain
issues. Tested on multi-server web farms, each server ran the handler on Windows
Server 2008 x64. These servers then proxy the BOSH communications to a SoapBox Server
installation configured to support composite sockets. Our BOSH implementation works
well with JSJaC, the most popular XMPP BOSH JavaScript library.
Multi-User Chat and Conferencing
SoapBox SDK Studio 2010 supports user conferencing allowing developers to create
solutions that let multiple users communicate with one another in a single chat
room.
